Head office wants the same record from every kitchen, not a different scrap of paper each time.
A hygiene record states what was washed, what was photographed, and what sat outside a UK kitchen clean. Book it when an insurer, a head office or an inspector wants that note. Send who the document is for, on the quote form or WhatsApp.
Compliance and hygiene certification is the record that follows a commercial kitchen clean in the UK: what was washed, what was photographed, and what was outside the visit. Book it when an insurer, a head office or an environmental health visit expects evidence, not a verbal “we cleaned it”. Ask for the record on the quote form or WhatsApp when you book the clean itself.
Sites ask after a deep clean when they have no note of what happened, or when a certificate from a hood wipe is being treated as if the duct was cleaned. The gap is the paperwork matching the work.
Who it is for
Head office wants the same record from every kitchen, not a different scrap of paper each time.
Extract and grease cleans that need a dated note of access and result.
A file an officer can read, alongside the pre-inspection clean if the room itself still needs work.

How it works
Isolate the area, lift the soil, rinse food-contact surfaces, then write down what was reached.
1Gas and power go off where we ask. We look at carbon, grease thickness and anything that cannot be reached, and we agree that list before chemical goes on.
2Grease and carbon are lifted, worked, and rinsed off the food-contact surfaces on the quote. Water does not run while food is still on the same bench.
3We write what was cleaned and what is left for an engineer. The kitchen plates again only when those surfaces are dry.
After the visit
The document is evidence of that visit. It goes out of date as the kitchen gets dirty again. The date on it is the point. It is not a permanent pass.
Your own records of the daily clean still matter. A contractor certificate cannot honestly cover work your team did, and your team cannot write our certificate.
Do not ask us to certify a rating, a pest-free status, or a duct we could not access. Those claims are how certificates become useless.
Quote
The written record is part of the clean, not a surprise extra. A TR19 certificate costs more than a deep-clean note because the measurements and access take longer. You see that price before the visit.
Tell us who the document is for: you, a landlord, or an insurer. If they have a form, send it with the quote request so the note matches what they asked for.
File the note with your cleaning rota and temperature records. A certificate does not replace the daily clean, and an officer will still look at the room.

FAQ
Straight answers for this service.
No. The rating is awarded by the local authority. Our note says what we cleaned. It is not a score.
The site, the date, the systems cleaned, the access we had, and the limits. It does not say the whole building is compliant.
No. The date is the date of the visit. A certificate for work that did not happen is not something we write.
Many ask for a TR19-style extract record specifically. Send their wording with the enquiry and we will say whether the visit matches it.
No. The document follows work we have done. If you need a survey only, say that and we will quote an inspection, not a certificate of cleaning.
